It all started with The OC! Blog Post #3

I have made a conclusion about reality television these days. It all started with The OC television show. Everyone in my middle school and my local high school was obsessed with this television show. I grew up in Newport Beach and Irvine so I knew the Orange County life pretty well. When The OC TV show started so many people became obsessed with Orange County. I went on a vacation to the east coast and when people found out that I was from The OC they were immediately jealous and asking questions! Then a year later the show Laguna Beach started which was a reality TV show about high school kids. This hyped up the buzz of Orange County even more! Laguna Beach was 10 minutues away from my hometown Irvine, CA. I went there all the time and now it was a famous place! Then after these shows, the Real Housewives of Orange County started. Then the Real Housewives of New York, Atlanta, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Miami, and more started to pop up! These reality tv shows all came to be because of the hype around Orange County. The OC started it all. The media became obsessed with reality television industry because it was cheap and Orange County became a well-known place. The mass media should thank The OC from starting its TV show because without it, these television reality shows would not exist today. It all started with The OC!
So if you want to visit, I suggest you do because its the OC people!

Royal Baby vs. Kimye Baby

My second blog will be about my focus on the entertainment industry. I would love to become a celebrity news reporter or sports reporter someday. The NEW trend in the mass media these days isn't just a clothing style but it is a different style that some of the most famous stars are trending. It is the style called being pregnant! These famous stars include Kate Middleton, Kim Kardashian, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and Fergie! These are some of the biggest names we hear about almost everyday epecially Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton! These ladies are talking about their new babies style and that they are both supposedly having girls, but they do not know for sure yet. I think that they are representing the pregnancy life well since they are both having kids after 30 and they have lived their lives. But, Kim Kardashian is not married and she is setting a trend to so many others that people can have kids out of wedlock. Especially her sister Kourtney who has already had two children out of wedlock! The Kardashians are almost like royalty in the United States which is why the media is comparing her pregnancy to the royal and classy couple of Kate Middleton and Prince William. Even though these two couples both have the similarity that they are pregnant and outstandingly famous, the Kardashians will never have more than one similarity to this classy royal family. The Kardashians are everything but classy and many Americans would agree.

Los Angeles: The Powerful

Hey everyone, My name is Caroline Hamilton and I am starting a blog today.
I am very interested in celebrity news and I would love to be involved in a career in the future that has to do with interviewing celebrities. Any career that I can be in front of a camera, would be for me because I am very comfortable with speaking in front of other people. The People.com website, http://www.people.com/people/ , is where I get all of my celebrity news. I check this website everyday and it always knows what is going on. My home screen to my computer is Yahoo and if they have news about celebrities, I check People.com to see if the news is accurate. I love the Entertainment industry because I feel like it will always be constant in society. Los Angeles is well-known all over the world for being a superstar city where most movies are made. Los Angeles is where the mass media began and it has taken over the U.S. with ideas, ways to look at things, what to buy, what to wear, and how to look. Los Angeles influences everyone all over the world and it is a very powerful city that I would like to work in so I can understand it. With this news lately centering Beyonce after the Super Bowl, it is insane to stop and think why do we care? We care because everyone else cares and because she did an outstanding job and entertaining millions of people with her booty shaking moves. But why did she flash an illuminati sign? We will never know, but that is true for a lot of gossip that happens. Who knows what really happens with celebrities behind the scenes or who they really are. My thoughts will continue in more blogs to come. Thank you.
